Does Kitestring Technical Services offer unlimited time off?
Pros
Everyone was super nice, the PTO policy was very easy to get time off, and they offered classes I could take and get paid for taking.
Cons
My client was awful, and no matter how badly they treated me/ tried to make it impossible for me to get my work done my manager just shrugged and told me to figure it out. Including when the client insisted I work hours well outside the job description I was given before working at Kitestring. After the client removed me from the project for bogus reasons (which my manager agreed were bogus) they were unable to find another project for me (I had been requesting a different project since not long after I started) and I was layed off effective the last day of my time on the project with no severance pay.
Advice to Management
Walmart is an awful company to work for in any capacity, please do yourself a favor and find other clients.

What is the retirement plan like at Kitestring Technical Services?
Pros
Pay is more than competitive for the area. Allow you ample independence to manage your contract/team without their intervention(double-edged sword) Benefits are great - double 401k match up to 4% I believe, but insurance was a little high. Even though they are a contracting company, and the members of the company can feel spread thin amongst the vast see of other contractors and associates, they were attempting(pre-covid...) to coordinate company wide social events such as free movies, parties, or nature hikes.
Cons
Won't be able to protect you if you are singled out by an associate(s). Mostly powerless to control inter-team dynamics. Ending up on the wrong team can leave you feeling dominated and inadequate.
Advice to Management
If possible, stand up for your employees and fight back against the current us vs. them culture(associate vs. contractor). Both Wal-Mart(and the world that relies on them) will be better for it.
