How do employees feel about the referral program at L3Harris?

Pros

CEO makes giant bonuses. If you are going to be the CEO this is the place for you. If you aren't going to be the CEO the one pro we have is a nice new building in Palm Bay, but its overcrowded so you won't work there. You do get free keyboard and mouse with your PC.

Cons

2nd tenure at Harris. 1st was some of best times but that Harris is dead. The new Harris, and now L3Harris, underbids every job it wins. After winning they continue to try and stramlne everything with no regards to quality, They lost their NextGen FAA contract ($1+ Bil), getting ready to lose their weather programs, and will most likely not win their FTI2 pursuit. They are going backwards fast. Cut the employee bonus program this year and raises no longer cover annual increases in benefits. Merged with L3 and quadrupled # of employees. One would think more employees would result in some discount in benefits but we are getting ready to raise them again. Steady mediocre paycheck with unstable mediocre programs. Not the place to be. Look elsewhere.

Advice to Management

Stop trying to over-maximize profits at the expense of anything that looks like quality. Actually do what you say you do in your training. Stop lying to your customers and your employees. Bring back PRP. How can the only people who get bonuses be on IDL and the people who make the money are excluded from receiving any of it.

Cut the employee bonus program this year and raises no longer cover annual increases in benefits.

What are other benefits and incentives like at L3Harris?

Does L3Harris offer a yearly bonus?

Pros

Pay check, very poor insurance and some good co-employees

Cons

L3Harris is absolutely the worst company I have ever worked for, and people in the Melbourne area with security clearances will avoid working here and anyone who's ever experienced this company in the past will very seldom return. I've heard the words spoken, "I would rather bag groceries" from ex-employees, asked if they would return. The company has been forced to hire unsuspecting personnel from out of the area, don't be fooled and fall for the trap, as I have witnessed new hires laid off within a few weeks after not winning a contract they were hired for. Your family will be very disappointed after moving from out-of-state to find you are now unemployed. It is highly possible you will be promised the world on the way in just to get a signature and the company will delivered very little of what was promised, and when the work load is low, (and believe me it has been low for most of the past 3 years), you will be seeking out your own next assignment, as your manager will not be responsible for that task. Co-workers will throw others under the bus for sport and to assume their work load and HR will basically laugh about it. Do not Believe any of the three, four or five star ratings on the site as they are written by the company to offset the true one and two star ratings, I am sure you are smart enough to see through fake reviews. All the good that was the Harris of he past is long over, no more decent pay increases, no more Bonuses, children's Christmas parties, free baseball games, summer picnics, everything that made the company personable is over. You would be way better off working at any other company!

Advice to Management

Stop posting anonymous automated fake reviews it shows laziness, contempt and disrespect for people reading the reviews and eventually you will run through all eligible candidates, the word will get out and no new one will work for L3H. Also; How do you live with yourself doing the horrendous things HR, upper management and middle-management does to the core workers?

All the good that was the Harris of he past is long over, no more decent pay increases, no more Bonuses, children's Christmas parties, free baseball games, summer picnics, everything that made the company personable is over.
