Pros
Leadership actively seeks new ways to support employees. The pay and benefits are fair, and everyone up to the CEO makes themselves available for questions and concerns.

It's contract work, so it's not as stable or dependable as a permanent position.

Does LAC Group offer tuition reimbursement?
Pros
Offers a small stipend for continuing education.
Cons
Upper management is out of touch with the reality of the company. Recently stated they wanted LAC Group to become a "destination workplace" but as long as they are 100% client-focused, at the expense of their employees, they will never meet that goal. Employees are considered disposable.
Advice to Management
Require management training for middle and lower management. Take a more active role in engaging with employees at all levels.

Does LAC Group offer health savings accounts?
Pros
Great co-workers in fantastic institutions
Cons
LAC previously had a great array of health insurance options, which have been cut this month to one plan range at one company, featuring higher deductibles and out of pocket limits than previous options. This on top of the fact that employees 401k match was "suspended" last year and has not yet been awarded or confirmed for this year.....benefits are disappearing at an alarming rate.

Does LAC Group offer unlimited time off?
Pros
Large company so other opportunities to switch jobs within the company. Many employees can WFH.
Cons
Low pay, especially for newer employees. They used to offer competitive pay, but no longer. Terrible PTO benefits as time is accrued, instead of front-loaded like most firms do. 15 days PTO which is a joke. And their PTO tracking system is always behind and has issues. Because they are based in CA, the best health benefits/plans are offered to CA employees. No real company culture as the majority of employees are remote. Lack of leadership is a big issue. I'd take the Glassdoor reviews with a grain of salt....two 5 star positive reviews on the same day?
Advice to Management
Publish a company org chart and share it with the entire company and put on the website. Employees have absolutely no clue who is in leadership, which is an issue when there are massive lay-offs. Don't promote from within without providing management training as most of the managers are clueless and have absolutely NO management experience. If there is a job opening, PUBLISH it so that it is open to all eligible employees to apply. Take employee suggestions seriously as those are the people having to do actual client work. If you have a WFH employee, pay them extra as there is ZERO to little overhead for the company.
