Does Life Time offer malpractice insurance?
Pros
Nice amenities and equipment is in good condition Decent for a new trainer to get their feet wet
Cons
They take a huge cut of your earnings Don't expect help getting clients They really want you to "drink their kool-aid" TONS of time wasting meetings (which you aren't paid for) Had to spend an hour a week cleaning equipment (again, not paid for) Micro management Sales heavy You have to tuck your t-shirt into your gym shorts... it's a requirement. Lies (such as you'll lose your medical insurance if you don't work enough hours--that's illegal by the way) You're forced to work a "shift" schedule, which includes a weekend day. I could go on and on.. Go somewhere else if you're looking for a career, unless you love sales.
Advice to Management
Don't hire new trainers until the ones you have are satisfied with their book of clients. It creates a terribly cut-throat environment. Don't micro-manage.
