What is paid time off like at Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company?
Pros
In my 12 years I have seen the company always put it's people first when making major decisions. The company leaders truly care about their associates. What started as a simple job for me turned in to a career. Some other great things: -Family owned and operated -Large quarterly bonuses for home-office staff -Excellent benefits -So many opportunities to grow -Generous paid time off
Cons
There are very few cons... -starting wages for new applicants are still a little below the industry norm -old technology
Advice to Management
We have been slow to progress with technology over the years which has set us back to some degree. Important projects take far too long to complete and require jumping through numerous hoops along the way. Then when change does come it seems to come all at once which is hard for many to adapt to. We need more IT support. Issues that are simple to resolve take too long to get resolved and waste time and money.

Does Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company offer life insurance?
Pros
They didn’t have too many pros only the clients
Cons
The downside of this job, is that they treat it as if your working for the mafia! Since there’s no real HR, complaints are always disregarded depending on the individual you may be reporting! The leads are so high! The contracts are the worse in the business and after 8 years in life insurance, 20 years working! This company is the worse company to work for, they are only about money! No equal rights here! I feel like they will have a commercial soon, verbal abuse was often! I would never refer anyone to work there ever, unless they like slavery! The sad part is there’s no loyalty, & I promise you most of those 5 star reviews came from them instructing the agents what to say! Trust me I could write a movie about this company & they would be all facts! Definitely don’t work for any of the southern states! Tennessee, AL, MS. The leaders are all tied in together! If you love your family don’t work for this company, I’ve seen it ruin lives!
Advice to Management
Clean house and get fresh new leadership not these MLM ppl

Does Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company offer malpractice insurance?
Pros
"sounds good" till you get passed the deceit. They'll say anything to get you on board, and the 2 managers can't keep their stories straight between them.
Cons
Pay for all leads. Was told for success, 25 appts a day, 6 days a week required if you want to make decent money. Both managers I talked with were liars about the so called opportunity they had. They have no integrity, and if you are looking for an opportunity in insurance, there are MUCH better companies to work for, and although most managers lie to hire you, these were the worst deceivers I've ever talked to. I recommend that if you are looking at this company to work for, You best run, run, run, to anything, anything else.
Advice to Management
Can't trust the management because of deceit so how could anyone with a conscience work for this company and sell/trust the products you would have to push hard on people to force them to buy. BAD NEWS.. ADVICE..... Try telling a person the truth up front

What are perks and other benefits like at Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company?
Pros
As a family owned company, LHLIC has a lot more freedom in the direction it wants to take its business. The founding principles of the company from almost 60 years ago remain as important as back then, still going strong. The company gives everyone an opportunity, whether you had a higher education or not, to start from the bottom and work your way up (if that is what you want). Remaining in the same position is also totally okay. Associates who work in the service and marketing areas are given all the tools and information necessary to be successful at their jobs, focusing on providing excellent service to the agents and policyholders. Within training, it is of utmost importance that the associates understand what the agents have to go through to make a sale so that they understand how they can better assist each agent. Answering the phone by a live person, without the need to select any touch-tone options, is an absolute priority to everyone at LHLIC. A promise made to each policyholder when they chose LHLIC is a promise kept with LH being there whenever they need assistance, or their family contacts them. The benefits provided by the company are the best in the industry, showing that they really care about their associates. Quickly adjusting to the pandemic by ensuring 80% of its associates worked from home right away was a priority that got done within a few days, ensuring the safety of all. A plan to help all field agents be able to work from home was also developed and implemented within a few days. Despite the quick rise in claims paid due to COVID-19, the company did not change its underwriting standards or requirements, fulfilling its promise of paying claims within 24 hours of receiving all documentation necessary and helping families when they needed the assistance the most.
Cons
Training varies by department, however, it's personalized to fit the individual's best learning environment.
Advice to Management
Continue focusing on the people (associates). The service provided to agents and policyholders wouldn't be possible without them.
