Pros

Livongo is unlike no other. The mission of the company is ambitious, purposeful and intrinsically motivating for every level and role. The culture is contagious - you think it's just a honeymoon phase as a new hire, but you see folks walking around who've been here since the beginning and they carry even more energy, engagement and excitement than the newbies. Outstanding, best-in-field medical and technical leadership. The potential for the company translates into potential for individual career growth & development. We are growing in every sense! I love the people here and I'm so glad I found this gem in the Silicon Valley niche of digital health.

Cons

-There are pros and cons to having a large remote population. The cons would be that the company can feel disconnected - still, there are visible efforts to make it one inclusive "workplace." - Work/life balance can be tough for support and front-line teams that don't scale as proportionately to the growth of the business. - Monthly all-hands, all-company meetings celebrate our wins but don't always address the growing pains

Advice to Management

Keep your enthusiasm and ambition levels high like they are! Promote/hire more diverse leaders into VP and above roles.

Pros

- collaborative environment, smart and passionate people, people of all ages - mission-driven company with excellent amounts of growth and future opportunities

Cons

- lack of transparency in leadership decision making despite active efforts (ex: team will start working on something, then quickly pivot without further explanation as to why), politics between leadership - not the best benefits compared to other companies at this size - remote employees and divided offices cause some communication bumps

- mission-driven company with excellent amounts of growth and future opportunities
