Livongo is unlike no other. The mission of the company is ambitious, purposeful and intrinsically motivating for every level and role. -There are pros and cons to having a large remote population. The cons would be that the company can feel disconnected - still, there are visible efforts to make it one inclusive "workplace." - Work/life balance can be tough for support and front-line teams that don't scale as proportionately to the growth of the business. - Monthly all-hands, all-company meetings celebrate our wins but don't always address the growing pains

Keep your enthusiasm and ambition levels high like they are! Promote/hire more diverse leaders into VP and above roles.

Rigorous training once you enter the company that allow you to fully learn your role inside and out. Work life balance and relaxed work environment. Handling COVID and working from home situation with such a positive attitude.

They advertise positions as full time and direct hire, and then once you are partially through the interview process they tell you the position will actually be contract to start and then become full time after a while (first it was 3 months, then it became 6 months). Contract positions don't receive paid holidays or sick time, and as someone who was hired just before the holiday season, it's hard not to see that as a sleezy cost cutting measure.

Just hire good people for a fair rate. Institute probationary periods if you want, but don't run people around and pull a bait and switch.
