      Pros

The pay is very good, benefits are excellent, and there is opportunity for professional growth and career exploration.

      Cons

The cons are the same as with any other large defense contractor.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great career opportunities and work life balance

      Cons

A lot of on the job learning and training required to be successful in role.

Cool projects plus top notch WLB

      Senior software engineer
      Current employee
      Orlando, FL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

4x10 schedules are game changing. Lots of cool projects, especially if you have a clearance. New programs are generally very start up like though with some bureaucracy (though they eventually grow out of it unfortunately due to size and more eyes). Lots of opportunities to grow different skill sets as sometimes you can get thrown into roles you're not familiar with (the internal community is super supportive so you won't drown in these cases) One of the fastest moving companies when it comes to defense

      Cons

Bureaucracy can be suffocating. Slow compared to tech industry (but this is a transnational industry wide issue due to safety and expensive physical products) Lot of programs overlap in functionality without each other knowing. For software folks, pay isn't as great as tech.

Good work and balance but not much career growth

      Senior systems engineer
      Current employee
      Sunnyvale, CA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good work life balance working in satellite sustainment operations. I have a flexible schedule.

      Cons

Very slow career growth and sometimes work is not appreciated by upper management

      Great place to work

      Systems engineer
      Current employee
      Fort Worth, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great company culture, many career growth opportunities

      Cons

Managers micromanage, a lot of turn over.

      Strong Opportunities, Tough Bureaucracy

      Senior member engineering staff
      Current employee
      Moorestown, NJ
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great opportunities given that the organization is so large, it’s fairly easy to move around and chart a career path. Very for compensation.

      Cons

The double-edged sword of the company’s size is that often you are going through so many names/approvers/offices for whatever you want to get done that progress can be glacial.

      Great company!

      Gnc engineer
      Current employee
      Littleton, CO
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Flexible work schedule, career development, lots of opportunities

      Cons

Large company, hard to be promoted

We know who we are working for

      Mechanic
      Current employee
      Silverdale, WA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great money and possible career advancement opportunities

      Cons

Not a lot of time off
