What are perks and other benefits like at MarkMonitor?

Pros

Good experience to get your foot in the cybersecurity field. Good benefits and pay for work. Relaxed work enviorment

Cons

Not exactly what most SOCs do and it went downhill after management changed and selling the company again. Managment had no idea what they were doing and constantly told us different things.

Advice to Management

Stop lying and going back and forth on decisions. Make up your mind.

Does MarkMonitor offer unlimited time off?

Pros

Everyone is nice. The office is in a good location. Good time flexibility. Understanding managers. Good team building. Lots of learning and skill development. Office activities and events.

Cons

Most of your work is hindered with hardware and software issues. The demanded work requires you to work around a lot of software related hurtles. Most of the time and meetings were spent discussing what’s wrong with the software. Horrible attrition rate. Most people complain about difficulties in salary and career advancements. A lot of new outside hires.

Advice to Management

Create a clear career path and advancement schedule. Trust your employees. Hire more people to fix your software to alleviate time wasted on work arounds.

Pros

Market leader in a growing space. Global offices. Collaborative teams full of great people. Small company feel within a larger organization. Lots of opportunity.

Cons

Been a bumpy ride over the past few years with a lot of transition from Thomson Reuters to Clarivate Analytics. Many key people have left impacting the company culture.

Advice to Management

Need to re-establish positive company culture and provide a solid vision for the future. Equity in the company would help morale.
