What is paid time off like at MarketSource?

Pros

Great discounts for phone plans

Cons

No benefits whatsoever, no PTO, no chance at moving up, incredibly aggressive management style where you're constantly threatened to be replaced. You'll constantly be told that an opportunity will be coming in soon and you'll be doing stuff for your DM that a DM would do but the spot gets filled and you get told better luck next time. Get ready to spend 5 hours fixing one persons phone issues because the system decided to randomly kick you out of it and you have to wait on hold for an hour with tech support to get told that their money won't be refunded for 48 hours, making you lose the sale.

Advice to Management

If I'm reporting someone to HR for lying and avoiding me, and then that person from HR doesn't take any disciplinary action against said DM, then I don't understand what the point is for HR. I'm not looking for anyone to relate to me when it comes to trying to understand a situation I'm going through, I'm looking for solutions. Pay your employees better because the commission does not make up for the insanely low base pay.

Does MarketSource offer massages?

Pros

Free coffee and nice coworkers

Cons

No room for growth unless you suck up to management. Not based on performance. You will be micromanaged. Managers play favorites. Commission structure is a joke

Advice to Management

Pay people for what they are worth. Also treat people with respect

Does MarketSource offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Make your own schedule depending on the program you are on.

Cons

Their benefit package is terrible. You would think for such a large company they could offer their employees something better. Of course with any outsource company, the contracts can end anytime. Unfortunately its the nature of the business. So just be careful because nothing is guaranteed. New leadership has really cut back. Nothing encouraging to work for. Pay is not the best. Even though I was hired as a salary employee, when the FLSA law was supposed to be passed MarketSource converted everyone to hourly. Even though the law never passed, they didn't revert back to salary. Instead keeping us hourly, which really is not conducive to a Field management position. Not a lot of room for advancement. This company is all in who you know. Defiantly cliques within upper management. A lot of micromanagement from MarketSource directly.

Advice to Management

Get a better benefit package and pay people what they are worth. Don't nickel and dime your employees.

Their benefit package is terrible.

Does MarketSource offer family leave?

Pros

Great management! Honestly treated my team like family and really empowered us to vocalize and put our thoughts/ideas into fruition.

Cons

As great as the management team was it all comes down to money. I work so I can afford to have a life....marketsourse does not have yearly raises nor do they have good benefits. A lot of the pay is based on expense reports so you have to front the money 90% of the time. There also is not much room to grow and unfortunately you wont get compensated fairly at any company where their only product are the employees.

Advice to Management

Pay better
