* Benefits (Insurance, Retirement, etc.) * Great work-life balance * Mentorship program for new engineers: This program allows new engineers to get a glimpse of the roles that other areas, outside of engineering, serve to help run the company. Engineers are also assigned a mentor for the first six months. After that, the new engineers can choose to either keep or change their mentor. The mentoring aspect of the program lasts for the first two (2) years of the new engineers' time at the company.

Sometimes the politics of being a publicly owned company can slow the progress that is intended to help improve the services provided to the customer.

The benefits are excellent.

Poor communication with upper management and the bottom line. Management does not speak to certain employees also make unnecessary changes without talking to employees just throw them in a position add duties and no compensation.

Stop believing everything your Supervisors tell you, get to know your employees yourself. You just might find that you have an awesome team. Spend some time with your people. Show some appreciation and gratitude.
