Pros
CEO is great, amazing art, nice atmosphere as far as pleasantries with colleagues, and good work / life balance generally.
Cons
Archaic and antiquated HR policies with regard to PTO, Flex dollars for Medical and Transit Expenses. They elect to only deposit AFTER your deductions are taken. SO you could have to reimburse yourself for transit expenses as they may not yet be available at the exact time you may need them. Overall, a very ANTI employee approach compared to other world class organizations. These guys are NOT it. Really underqualified people working in certain areas that should not be; but I guess that's what happens when you pay low dollar. Overly policy oriented and tactile staff that just doesn't get it - you know what kind of labor market we're in now? People can usually do better than what this place offers if they have half a brain. Disgusting offices with roaches in the bathrooms (did not want to use them) And overall (NOT ALL) a really DUMB HR department
Advice to Management
Get with the 21st century if you want to attract and retain 21st century talent. Attend a SHRM conference every now and again and see what employers are doing RIGHT. Otherwise you'll get people with stars in their eyes that really love the art and are too naive to realize they're getting shafted when they sign the dotted line, and guess that's worked for you.
