What is working from home like at Microsoft?

Flexible working hours, can work from home, a few company perks

Lack of physical training, everything is only online.

Decent pay, good benefits, work life balance is excellent, working from home is lovely

The company is so woke. Why am I forced to write a DEI review in my annual review. It should be meritocracy only.

Microsoft allows a lot of flexibility in terms of work from home as well as office it really does feel like a team where we all work together to achieve our goals

There are few, but maybe the work from abroad is tougher

No cons i can think of

Company use to sponsor visa, has some nice perks.

They cut jobs to invest on AI, no more work from home, has a lot of customer service work to be done for engineering (now you can do it with AI they say), micromanaging use of AI tools, payment is low comparing with other companies.

Great work life balance, great benefits, 100% remote work.

Layoffs are common unfortunately. Work may be monotonous. 100% remote work could be negative if you like hybrid.

constant reorg, competition between teams, intense culture, company didn't inform me of on-call duties before I joined team, not much room for exploring other options career wise
