What is health insurance like at Mynd Spa and Salon?

Pros

fantastic benefits! paid time off, maternity leave, family leave, top tier health coverage. The company is wonderful & the CEO genuinely cares about the well being of the employees. Advancement possibilities are there & there are consent reviews that can result in raises.

Cons

Salon & Spa Management was constantly changing at the time I was there. I'm sure by now it's evened out. If you take pride in your business & are disciplined to manage yourself you'll be fine.

Does Mynd Spa and Salon offer health savings accounts?

Pros

Co workers were amazing and level headed. The company offered 401K (although the match was laughable) and decent healthcare for the city. The services were pleasant to perform.

Cons

Commission for Massage therapists didn't allow for a good living to be made. You had to budget well to scrape by. Vacation or days off were only allowed if you found coverage for your time, which basically makes you a slave to the company.

Advice to Management

You failed us with your pathetic attempt to rebrand. Allow for employees to take vacation in peace. Have a better commission rate and turnover wouldn't have been so high. Your marketing team was trash and that is why the company failed. All that big money you spent on them was wasted.

The company offered 401K (although the match was laughable) and decent healthcare for the city.
