What is paid time off like at Niagara Bottling?

Pros

good pay , great time off , interesting , treated with respect , show your they care , cheap benefits, feel welcomed , and every bodies welcomed, no heavy lifting, provide products and ac vents on floor to help you cool off

Cons

Can be pretty hot some times

Advice to Management

Get good shoes you'll need then , wear your provided cooling towel.

Does Niagara Bottling offer massages?

Pros

People are friendly, management supports thier operators and mechanics, free ice cream, can win a car one time a year based on safety.

Cons

Plant gets hot during the summer, it's production work and can get repetitive.

Does Niagara Bottling offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Overtime, ease of job, co-workers

Non-competitive benefits package! I paid more to be on my spouses insurance through their work because it, far and away, exceeded what I was offered at Niagara. low raises, no sick time, attendance policy, hot working conditions. Management creates rules and procedures, but are rarely on the dock enforcing them! Missing 4 days in a years time will reduce your, once a year, raise to less than half the percentage from the previous year regardless of how well you perform your job. It will make you ineligible to be promoted for an entire year and will give you a very unfavorable yearly review! 4 days....in a YEAR! Only get paid for 8 hours on holidays that the building is closed, even when you lose a 12 hour shift as a result! These are all facts, not opinions!

Advice to Management

Learn that “PTO” and “sick time” are two different things! Bring back the summer family picnic and the ability to earn “comp hours” that were each taken away a few years ago! Offer a more competitive benefits package with more choices! Maybe an Employee of the Month or quarter instead of only the Employee of the Year? Be more proactive and less reactive!
