What is the company culture at Northstar California Resort?

Pros

The culture and environment within the department team were amazing. The manager was phenomenal and spent great effort in cultivating a working environment where you were excited to come to work. Focused on sustainability and allowed team members to take more responsibility and grow. Last but not least SNOWBOARDING or skiing(up to you). Great job if you are passionate about the outdoors and sustainability.

Cons

The pay and corporate management, the pay was much too low barely liveable in a resort town. There were several occasions where situations could have been handled better by corporate. Another con is verbal abuse from customers. I'd also add that the overall team was amazing but it was not uncommon to find those who did not meet the standard, however, the pay is not livable enough for many people.

Advice to Management

Continue to focus on creating a healthy positive environment for employees and they will spread it into guests' experiences. Continue to push for sustainability in all aspects. PEOPLE, PLANET, PROFIT, in that order.
