Does Northwell Health offer a weekly bonus?

Pros

Management cares visibly and deeply about work / life balance.

Cons

No bonuses. A lot of red tape for simple approvals. Management structure is antiquated.

Advice to Management

Study other industry management structures to identify proper technology alignment. Give managers more approval power and remove the need to have upper management review and approval efforts. Needs streamlining.

Great people in my department to work with.

Cons

Work/life balance; weak morale support; no annual bonus; expendable employees

Advice to Management

Inquire into others within one's department before pre-judging and choosing those to let go due to financial means; I was let go not based on skills and experience and praise from fellow coworkers, but based on purely expendability and lack of knowledge of the production and involvement of those from departments not actively connected with

What are sales commissions like at Northwell Health?

Pros

- Decent commission and bonus structure - Freedom of not being confined in an office - Sales kick offs are typically all inclusive

Cons

- No structure - No room for growth (one sales manager, one director) - Office wont care about your personal life if you dont perform - No personal development or growth minded leadership - Because you get reimbursed for miles, anything that happens to your car is your responsibility (rock chips, roof leaked from Dr parking garage etc)

Advice to Management

Pay closer attention to your employees needs. If they come to you with their major personal issues that are distracting them, be human, don't let them go the following month. Working through it together provides a much greater ROI then the month or two of no upsell. Offer up sell incentives for reps - since they don't prospect they are limited to what they can do with their clients. A team environment works wonders for productivity, try it
