How is management perceived at Northwell Health?

Pros

The comradery among fellow employees and management is great. Flexible schedule.

Cons

It is unlikely to work on the prior assigned unit. Constantly changing work units.

Is Northwell Health a good company to work for?

Pros

I had a great experience with Northwell Health. Great PTO and other benefits offered by the company and a good place to start for corporate recruitment coming from an agency (myself amongst many others in this department). Management was always very helpful and have a good idea of what they want to do. Great work life balance and flexibility to work from Home when needed. People in these roles tend to hit a ceiling after a little bit of time but to my understanding they are creating roles to help promote growth in the department.

Cons

The portfolios can be a tad overwhelming at times. With the size of the health system the talent acquisition department could probably benefits by increasing in size as well to limit the responsibilities for the recruiters (anywhere from 20-60 positions at a time) which tends to get high. Salaries are a little on the low end in consideration the locations proximity to queens and the city but I believe there has been improvements to the pay structure since my departure.
