Does Northwell Health offer dental insurance?
Pros
doctors wonderful to work with
Cons
Worst pay, with loads of works. I left a private doctors office where I worked for 6 year because my friend got me into Northwell, worst mistake of my life, I don't even make enough to get health, vision, or dental benefit, and I am a single mom. when asked if they pay by experience I was told everybody here makes the same. I have almost 7 years of experience in my field making the same amount as someone just coming out of school
Advice to Management
Start treating your worker and doctors right and maybe they will stop leaving. we have all wrote to Michael Dowling and HR still no changes this department won't be around for too long because they have every doctor and manager, and medical Assistant leaving every month this place does not have employee longer than a few months.

Does Northwell Health offer family leave?
Pros
- many opportunities within a large health system - good insurance - good PTO
Cons
- not female friendly- male driven health system - poor tuition reimbursement - no maternity leave outside of own PTO/unpaid - took away holiday time/overtime for NP's. - if extra hours worked, it is a flat rate that does not even come close to time and a half. Made this change without salary increases - Has NP's work at the bottom of their license. Made NP's and PA's on the same playing field, when it's two different professions. - poor transparency with salary structure -instituted a mandatory 'acute care certification' requirement to work inpatient with no plan in place on getting existing NP's certified.
