What is paid time off like at OCBC Bank?
Pros
High basic (incl allowances) for a pretty entry-level job.
Cons
Colleagues are snakes, senior staff choose walk-in queues so junior staff don’t get to even press on good oppty queues at all (just do service for customer, can’t even do your walk-in sales) so juniors really have to stay after work till 9 everyday to do TC while the seniors just happily go off after branch closes since they already have their walk-in sales. Also, have to work weekends. You won’t see your family much. Your BM can also be extremely micro-managing. Customers are mad, sending in complaints that contain lies about you just because they are mad that they can’t get their problem resolved at their definition of quickest time possible (everything takes time and the staff here are already doing their best), and the management sides with the customer, EVEN when you can prove otherwise. Kind of demoralising isn’t it. Commission is also really low right now. Is there even a point to tolerate all the crap from customers when you don’t even earn much 😂
Advice to Management
Nah, nothing will change, no advice.
Also, have to work weekends.

Does OCBC Bank offer massages?
Pros
They provide free breakfast and lunch
Cons
There is no 13th month pay and there is no declaration of bonus for this year at all because their revenue drops by 20%. Even when their previous years profit are good they also gave only 1.2 months bonus without 13th month pay. And their 1.2 months bonus are divided by six months instalment!
Advice to Management
Please practise fairness to all employees and at least gave a 13th month pay to every employee which is a very common practice in Singapore. Whenever an employee resigned from the company he is no more entitled to the bonus which is paid in 6 monthly instalment. This is a very unfair practice and deprived the employee from the contribution he or she made for the previous year because the management only start to give their instalment payment in March and ends in August. This kind of practice lacks integrity and is totally unacceptable to the employees! My advice to you is when you treat your employees well they will be totally committed to their work and they will pledge their loyalty to your company and employees turnover in your company will not be so high every year!!!
