Does Pacifica Group have a pension plan?

Pros

Locally based nationwide company. Investing in local economy. Superb work based pension scheme. Atmosphere within the offices and company are friendly and employees have a great togetherness. Generally promote from within which gives a clear pathway for employees wishing to progress. I have been with Pacifica for 9 years through various roles. Starting at entrance level and now being employed at a senior manager level. It is unique that a company of this size you have direct access to directors whom make every effort to know staff throughout the company irrespective of their level. The office environment is beautiful and they in the summer it’s lovely sitting outside during lunch and breaks.

Cons

Training could be better and that is something that the company are investing heavily in as part of a continuous improvement plan in all areas.

How are career development opportunities at Pacifica Group?

Pros

There is a strong culture of promoting learning and development of colleagues. The company has grown in so many ways since I started working here and there are lots of opportunities to progress within the business. There is still a family feel to the business, even as the headcount has grown. The owners of the business are still very much involved and you feel part of something and that you matter, you're not just an employee number. In turn this has created teams and Managers who really care about the business and their contrinution to it. The Covid response from the business has been very good, with good provision of PPE from the start and flexing the business to allow for home working, ensuring colleagues are as safe as possible, both in the office and out in the field.

Cons

I genuinely can't think of any. I feel very grateful to work here, in an industry that has gone from strength to strength.
