How do employees feel about their professional development opportunities at Parterre Garden Services?
Pros
-Field Managers are mostly wonderful people and very knowledgeable -Occasional bonuses and gift bags -Gardener position is relatively tame, but must have personal vehicle
Cons
-Upper management is mediocre and focused only on profits, resulting in unhappy employees and years of very high turnover rates -Inefficient work practices, understaffed middle management, and stressful work environment -A lot of expensive branding and swag, but end result on properties is often unimpressive due to underbudgeted maintenance and lack of equipment and structured protocols on site -No training whatsoever, regardless of experience -Virtually no diversity
Advice to Management
Restructure the company to give more support to Field Managers; train gardeners properly to free up FMs from having to babysit; focus less on potential OBM bonuses and increase wages.

How is management perceived at Parterre Garden Services?
Pros
Working in beautiful gardens and many great crew members.

Provide consistent and clear feedback to your employees so they know where they stand. Provide training and treat employees with respect. You cannot replace decent pay and a good working environment with free water bottles and a couple of company outings.
