What are perks and other benefits like at Patina Solutions?

Pros

* I was hired to fill a void on a contract basis at a 100-year-old non-profit organization using my many years of experience in a consulting leadership role. * I excelled in this role and had an excellent working relationship with the client and the Patina account managers. * The Patina account managers only coached me as requested, but otherwise trusted my actions and leadership skills. * I was paid the highest salary I have made throughout my entire 20+ years of experience career. * Eligible for Health Insurance at the start of the month following my start date. * Patina engages with mature career professionals where experience is well respected. * Per Patina's agreement was able to work remotely 50% of the time. * Client provided laptop per Patina's agreement.

Cons

* Health insurance was pricey, but a great plan. My established doctors were in-network so I did not need to change doctors. * Patina also offers a 401k saving option so I was also to keep contributing to my retirement plan. * No other benefits were offers. * Patina was unable to find me a new position after this short term engagement ended. * Be aware, if you are considering Patina you are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement to not reveal Patina clients to outside organizations. * Expect down time between assignments.

Advice to Management

Patina has many applicants but appears to only keep a core staff of consultants employed at a time. It would be nice if assignments or employment gigs offered some stability for the consultants.

No other benefits were offers.
