What is health insurance like at Peace Corps?
Pros
freedom to pursue what your interested in and take initiative to make change based on your own observances and work in villages. There is good healthcare and nice benefits, plus a good support system
Cons
Sometimes you can be placed in less desirable sites, jobs, countries and each experience is different, so its a bit of a gamble sometimes. It has a lot to do with perspective! The most successful volunteers looked at things with a positive light.
Advice to Management
Be fair to all volunteers, continue to make them feel heard and respected. Peace Corps is nothing without the people out there making it happen!

What are perks and other benefits like at Peace Corps?
Pros
The international experience you gain is incredible. No other organization integrates into communities to the levels that Peace Corps does and that brings a lot of benefits. The experience is different depending on the assignment but overall, I've found that peace corps introduces you to some of the best people, some wild experiences you never expected and gives you opportunities that would take years to get at a traditional 9-5.
Cons
It's a huge time commitment and the job never ends. You're a volunteer 24/7 for 27 months. It can be mentally and physically exhausting.
