How are senior leaders perceived at Penske Media?

The list of publishing brands is impressive

Cons

Bad record on pay equity when it comes to gender Does not support a work/life balance based on job expectations Bad reputation on supporting diversity & inclusion and does not have any formal policy on hiring people of color. No strategic plan in place across senior management or the HR Dept. to create a career road map for minority employees HR Dept is not supportive or proactive about complaints related to cases of discrimination Inconsistent management at the senior level and bad behavior from senior leaders is allowed to dominate creating a stressful and demoralizing work environment

Advice to Management

Listen to your employees about the changes that need to be made and genuiune complaints Work on equal pay for women at PMC and salary increases equal to the work load as there is a consisent imbalance Develop and implement diversity and inclusion policy and hire more people of color across all management levels. Install more people of color and women on your corporate board Get rid of bad managers who are bad actors no matter how long their tenure who erode the morale and the culture of others Stop the continuous microaggressions against people of color on both the editorial and business sides of your publishing platforms Stop making money off conferences/live events related to industry issues if PMC is not upholding their responsibility regarding pay equity, anti-racism practices and gender equity.
