What is working from home like at Penske Media?
Pros
Our CEO, Jay Penske Great staff Thoughtful policies
Cons
There are no cons that come to mind other than I would love to see more work from home flexibility after the situation with Covid improves. I feel more productive and less stressed without a daily commute.
Advice to Management
Consider at least a partial work from home policy for those employees who are able to do their jobs successfully from home.

How is the work/life balance at Penske Media?
Pros
- nice offices - prestigious publications - interesting people
Cons
- lack resources for people on the creative side (to the extent it made it difficult to perform our jobs) - low salary and little to no work life balance - insists no room for promotions but is happy to promote white male executives near constantly - health insurance super expensive - no diversity and despite efforts to address that (after employees demanded it in full force) nothing changed - executives despite being out of touch do not see their employees as people worthy of having an opinion despite it usually being in their best interest (make their publication not sound tone deaf, racist, sexist, etc.) and are inflexible when it comes to evolving with the times it's exhausting - not an environment for anyone to ever express their opinions or concerns - HR is the worst I have ever had to deal with—not helpful, any concerns you raise will be forwarded to the top, just not good at their jobs
Advice to Management
- pay people more especially creatives - work on your diversity problem - foster an environment for actual dialogue especially when it comes to your conceited out of touch white males at the top - actually work to promote work life balance - get people in HR who actually know how to foster a healthy work environment
low salary and little to no work life balance
