Pros

Poloniex values its engineers and designers incredibly highly. There is tons of transparency with leadership, and there is a relatively flat hierarchy in terms of decision making. Diversity is huge as well, with WFH culture being a huge component.

Cons

Dependencies on trends of the cryptocurrency market can be unpredictable.

Pros

There are some truly talented and friendly colleagues

Cons

Horrible leadership, no clear reporting structure and no support from the manager

Advice to Management

Focus on team building rather than being toxic to and gaslighting your team members

Pros

- some smart/awesome people left (but they're running for the exits) - still some decent snacks

Cons

- run by leadership who just wants to shill his coin (and does not respect women) - other leadership is an absolute joke who commands zero respect and does nothing - turning into a scam - toxic environment - looks awful on your resume, this company's reputation is in the trash - no future

Advice to Management

hand out some large bonuses and then shut it down

Pros

1. Very focused team post spin-out from Circle. Keep up the focus and hitting goals! 2. Great culture - HR team really cares and supported the employees through Covid. 3. Everyone seems to be doing everything possible to turn the company around. Great team atmosphere. 4. People are passionate about crypto and live it everyday. 5. Senior leadership is doing an amazing job at the moment - please continue to keep in tune with employees.

Cons

Suggestions: 1. Equity so people feel more invested 2. Scrap the values - 6 months to make them (agree with the other review!). We have a culture (a great culture) - we don't need working sessions talking about values for >180 days. Would have worked if we just made a decision on them within the first couple of weeks. 3. Uncertainty about the future 4. Lack of career progression -- as much as I love it at Polo I'm not sure where my next steps are 5. Some people are overworked and likely burnout to be expected. 6. Need more female employees/leaders!

Advice to Management

Equity or people are heading out I'm afraid (other more competitive options), more female representation, greater separation with the larger organization, please scrap the values

5. Senior leadership is doing an amazing job at the moment
