What is it like working with clients or customers at PulsePoint?

Pros

This is my 4 job and by far the best company that I have worked for. They do exciting work in the healthcare space, the team is great, leadership cares much more then any other company, benefits are solid and the clients are top notch brands in the healthcare space. They also have a pretty good benefits plan including health, dental, free food, company retreats. The company also is very open about its numbers, strategy etc

Cons

The company is relatively small so you cannot hide. I have seen a bunch of promotions but they aren't a lot of them because team is less then 200 pp. Wish they had a tuition reimbursement program and paid bonuses more regularly

Advice to Management

All good except there are a few people on the team who act like prima donnas . . . don't tolerate that stuff. It is difficult on us all

How is the office food at PulsePoint?

Pros

An amazing team of talented people, The Leadership team are all very approachable and down to earth. It's a really great company culture. There's lots of room for growth. The yearly retreats are always a blast. There are lots of perks: free lunch, massage day, $500 bonus for vacations, honeymoons, etc. They have a very unique tech offering in the healthcare space.

Cons

More diversity in the Executive Leadership Team.

What are working conditions like at PulsePoint?

Pros

Our leadership team has blown me away with their response to the COVID crisis. We were fully operational with WFH with no technology glitches overnight, and there was an established plan for how to get through this period. Transparency has increased and our CEO Sloan has such a big heart. While our friends in the adtech space are going through some very difficult times, I am so grateful for a team that I trust 100%.

Cons

Surely this should be enough proof that it's time to implement a WFH policy :)

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! The leadership team and HR have been so supportive, it's nice to see values displayed and performed every day (rather than only existing as words on a wall). Thank you to Sloan and Tom for your hard work getting us through this time, it's super appreciated.

What is typically worn or allowed to be worn at work at PulsePoint?

Pros

Was here for a summer. NY location is a mid-sized company - about 130 people. Everyone here is very kind, approachable, and are willing to help you out with whatever you need if they know they can help. It's very casual here, casual attire - which is a big pro. You get a lot of autonomy and freedom here. You will truly get the chance to learn and grow here. People are laid back, chill, genuine, and helpful. Management is transparent and clear with their vision, objectives, goals, and action plans. Even the CEO is humble, super friendly, and will try to know everyone in the company on a personable level. That's really rare and I appreciate that. The people here are also very flexible and understanding. Best part is honestly the company culture, they try to make having fun a priority here. "Have Fun or Go Home." They will make you like coming into work everyday.

Cons

none that I could point to.
