What kind of career opportunities exist at Redington Gulf?

Pros

Learning Good start for freshers Product based company Fixed shift and off Tour and outing is excellent Colleagues are good Office atmosphere looks like a IT company Developed and good revenue company

Cons

No carrier development No on site opportunitie Not a good salary when considering market standards Worst variable pay policy It is not a pure supply chain company It is fully a kpo industry

How are promotions handled at Redington Gulf?

Pros

Location of Office ,Centrally located.

Cons

Favoritism, Managers at high and responsible profile have reached by mere virtue that they have pleased their seniors. ( not professionally)Most of them don’t even hold any relevant educational qualification. Unreasonable promotions. Gender discrimination at the peak although there is a ration of 1:3 . Rigid and conservative approach. HR is there just for fancy purpose while the real decision makers are the somewhere in background. Various projects are designed for research but just for show purpose . Over all a place to crush your dreams and your professional ambitions.

Advice to Management

Top Management needs review their second line of management seriously. ( just not at the time of promotion)They have and will be loosing good resources . People may join and continue working cause of some pressure ( financial or otherwise)but when the time comes it will be sheer failure of the company not the employee.

Unreasonable promotions.

Stable company due to varied business options

Cons

Office politics , favoritism. Lack of leadership!

Advice to Management

Care about your employees who burn their midnight oil for you. Grow up , and behave like you are leaders instead of being so vulnerable and following your perceptions about people .

How is management perceived at Redington Gulf?

Pros

Good exposure: can learn a lot and gain experience, just need perseverance

Cons

0 for Management, from the top. seniors and management are very bad at taking suggestions and criticism. The companies work policies, structure is at least 10 to 15 years behind others

Advice to Management

Shift focus from money to people, focus on your employees. Change the companies structure, Hierarchy. Give a meaning to HR, give them some powers. They are just puppets to Business heads and MD.
