What is working from home like at Sammons Financial Group Companies?
Pros
employee-owned, ESOP, opportunities for bonuses based on personal and company performance, 40 hour work weeks that include out of the office by 12:30 on Fridays, work from home opportunities, excellent resources and opportunities for career development, you feel valued and not that you're "just a number"
Cons
some systems we use aren't very streamlined, which can create additional manual work (in the scheme of things, not a big deal.)

How is the work/life balance at Sammons Financial Group Companies?
Pros
The work culture and work life balance is really good since we have round the year 1/2 days on Friday and dressing is business casual as jeans are allowed. The new building in WDM, IA is awesome and the people are really nice.
Cons
The PTO is not allotted in the beginning of the year. You have to earn PTO through each pay period. The health insurance benefits are not that competitive. I have had better benefits working at other companies. The company needs to have more diversity and hire people with diverse background and culture
Advice to Management
Include more diversity and rethink about the PTO benefits
