Does Sedgwick Claims Management Services offer massages?

Pros

Dental benefits. Free coffee. TCM nurses and some vendors are very helpful.

Cons

Low pay, exorbitant amount of claims, unreasonable expectations, never feel you are caught up because you never will be, mediocre healthcare benefits, toxic work culture, incompetent managers, regular unapplicable mandatory time-consuming training and meetings which pull you away from your insurmountable workload.

Advice to Management

Don't be casually racist. Invest in your employees by being more transparent with expectations, not just presenting vague, generic goals through TalentQuest and never being upfront with scheduled raises. Pay people more money as their workload and expectations increase.

Free coffee.

Does Sedgwick Claims Management Services offer dental insurance?

Pros

Met some amazing and great people working here.

Cons

Nepotism at its finest! Reminded me of high school. In order to advance in your career you must kiss up to, and be accepted by the "in crowd". Promotions and job security are not based on your performance, knowledge, or skills,, but rather on who you know, and who "personally" likes you. Extremely unprofessional. Lack of training, support, and communication. Management lacks structure, fairness, and ethics. Benefits are expensive and coverage is lacking for the cost you pay. Large caseloads. No OT. No backup coverage or support teams in place. Lack of consistency and structure in task completions, and file management. Policies and actual business practices do not match. Communication is subpar at best.

Advice to Management

Managers need to be skilled in the actual management of people, not just numbers. Employees should be fairly compensated and have access to adequate training, resources, equipment, and software needed in order to perform their required duties efficiently and effectively.

Benefits are expensive and coverage is lacking for the cost you pay.

Does Sedgwick Claims Management Services have a pension plan?

Pros

Great colleagues. Most supervisors know what they are doing but upper management is only concerned about numbers which affect their bonuses.

Cons

For such a large company, benefits are terrible. No pension. No work/life balance. Most examiners are overworked and definitely underpaid.

Advice to Management

Treat everyone the same. Stand up for your team.

No pension.

Does Sedgwick Claims Management Services offer life insurance?

Pros

You're paid every two weeks. Met some nice people. Accomplished my goal and got out.

Cons

Salary not competitive. Offered less than what I was making in 2012. Health insurance is expensive. Claims systems out of date. Multiple platforms do not work well together. Salaried employee, beware. You work extra, but if you leave early they charge PTO. Weirdest salaried position I've held.

Advice to Management
