Does Signifyd offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Great benefits package Good office environment (pre-COVID) Equipment is up-to-date Knowledgeablge engineering and development teams Good pay Members of staff from other depts. can be helpful

Cons

Management can be directionless depending on department Inter-personal skills sometimes lacking Some staff coasting while others are swamped with workloads, and it's not recognised by senior colleagues Style over substance at the wrong times Failure to fully utilise staff's prior or just-acquired knowledge and experience

Advice to Management

If you're fighting to get staff in and appeal to them as having the best place to work, fight to keep them with the same effort. Some hires you'll only get once in a blue moon. Listen to staff who may have more experience than you on topic x or y, even if you don't. They're there to help, not everyone is out to climb the corporate ladder or take your spot. Don't bluff in meetings. People know. Let staff in on more industry talks, and make effort to train them in their respective discipline beyond just what the company deals with-day to-day. When putting procedures in place, know what it is youre actually wanting to happen instead of a hit and hope approach.

Does Signifyd offer massages?

Pros

Some talented and good people, competitive start-up benefits, free meals and snacks.

Cons

Uncertain future as the company experiences continual growing pains under weak executive leadership in a challenging and highly competitive marketplace. There has been high turnover in teams such as engineering and finance which are normally stable in other companies. Why are people who are close to the product and close to the financial health of the company leaving? What do they know that we don’t? The sales teams seem to keep growing but they get the best perks and fat commissions so things look great for them. That might be the only team worth joining. Everyone else should think twice before signing on the dotted line because management and HR will not have your back. Scapegoating is a genuine problem to be wary of unless you have the right connections to protect you no matter what you do. Management are aware of the issues but have failed to take the actions that would have saved the company from spiraling downwards technologically and internally self destructing.

Advice to Management

Take measurable action on core concerns raised repeatedly by employees who are in the trenches. Pulse surveys are a starting point and favorite HR PR tool but none of it matters in the end if nothing concretely changes for the better. Ask yourselves why the head of engineering and head of finance both left within months of each other. Why cut half your customer “success” team while you continue to add more sales people? Things are not as good as they look on the surface when the key doers leave.

Does Signifyd offer a wellness program?

Pros

Signifyd is an awesome place to work. The leaders are exceptional, communicative, invested and very approachable. They offer great benefits and company wellness days, guest speaker webinars, yoga stretch breaks and much, much more. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to work for a fast moving, innovative, and exciting company. They put their employees first!

Cons

I haven't encountered any negative aspects yet but if you are not interested in a fast growing, ambiguity, and quick shifts/pivots this wouldn't be the company for you at this time.
