What are perks and other benefits like at SmartThings?
Pros
- Work with cutting edge cloud technologies and frameworks on a regular basis - Competitive compensation - Great benefits and work-life balance - Friendly, sociable engineering folks
Cons
- Weekly on-call rotations - (sometimes) late night calls with HQ (Samsung) - Very fast pace and product vision isn't always clear cut

Does SmartThings offer unlimited time off?
Pros
- Challenging workload - You get what you put into the company - Ample room for growth - Leadership really cares about your well-being - Taking time off is a breeze (you basically tell your boss "hey, i'm taking a week off next month" and they'll let you no questions asked) - Coworkers are great/super friendly!
Cons
- Fairly high expectations but nothing that isn't manageable - Priorities constantly change in a rapid environment - Weekly on-call rotations
