Does Société Générale offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Good Benefits Package Reasonable amount of training A lot of leagues and chapters and guilds and other things you can get involved in, to supplement your day to day work

Cons

Main con is the constant re-organisations, meaning you never know if your job really is safe or not. This also means that social events and parties get cancelled a lot as it seems insensitive during times of people being at risk. Also, the typical stuff for working for a huge organisation - far too many emails and newsletters and meetings. Difficult to pass feedback up the line and know if anyone has actually taken your points on board. I listed training as a pro, which it is, BUT at the start of the financial year, everyone has to get training requests in quickly before the budget runs out. There's still good training courses to be had.

Does Société Générale offer dental insurance?

Pros

Great benefits (health, dental, vision, and vacation days)

Cons

I found the work life balance in my area to be quite challenging. I often worked 60+ hours each week. I think this is due to the "meeting paralysis" nature of the organization. Much of the day (approx 95% according to my Office Insights) is spent in meetings leaving the actual "work" to be done late night after hours. Organizational change is also quite prevalent. My department has changed names every year for the past 4 years.

Advice to Management

Communicate the organization's strategy at a level that details what it means to the employees. Will "x" change cause me to work more or less hours? Will this change result in upskilling for my team? Will this change provide opportunities to expand into other areas in the organization
