Does Suited Connector offer a quarterly bonus?

Pros

*Exceptional Work Environment - open concept both in the current office and the brand new one being built now. Allows for perfect collaboration between individuals as well as teams. We move extremely fast so we need to be comfortable in our environments and SuCo leadership has made that a priority. Our ability to be comfortable and move quickly is what makes us the best in the business! *Everyone loves new toys - if there is something you need to create a better workspace, a tech need, or whatnot managment will ensure that you have it. We are lucky to have the latest in computer tech, two 27 inch monitors per desk, adjustable desks for sitting or standing... you are never wanting for anything, and it's amazing. *Never the same day - Our world is always changing and we never just sit still. There is always an innovation or new element to be worked on which means your days are never the same. This creates a competitive environment in the best way possible. *Updated PTO Policy and Friday Lite - this was a recent change that was brought to the attention of the managment, and HEY... they actually listened (Yes it's a thing and it really does exist in the professional world). We have an unlimited PTO model arranged with your managers. Gone are the days of hoarding pto in case of a cold, or surprise trip to Hawaii. We also have experiemented with Friday lite, basically if your manager deems you've worked your hours and made progress on your goals, Friday's can be done at noon, 1, 2 etc. Happy early weekend! *Food and Caffiene Galore - Our kitchen and drink fridges are always stocked with enough redbull, coffee, bang, ramen, chips, cookies... you name it. If you want something specific, just like tech, all you gotta do is ask! *Money Money Money - Pay packages are extremely competitive in the overall space and generous. Month to month bonus potential will be replaced by quarterly determined by overseeing manager. If you can get the job done and well, you are absolutely rewarded for your efforts! *Non Related Bonus Points - Being on the Airport property has it's advantages - Every week or so the a group of fighter jets fly over, extremely low, buzzing our building during their training sessions. If you are outside during it, not only will you get a glimpse of a low flying fighter jet but you will go deaf for about 20 seconds! If you are in the building, you will feel them roar by. Totally wild experience.

Cons

*Culture Kick - our culture needs a kick in the pants, something to jumpstart it again. Teams can get a little isolated and working in their own little world and forget that everyone is working towards a better SuCo! Group events, culture building etc. Especially when Covid ends, we will need something to boost everyone up! *The Always present Communication "Thing" - this can always be worked on and like I said above, teams can become isolated, islands that work for their goals rather than the goals of the whole company. Open communication between teams seems to get lost, partially due to the fact that we do move SO fast. We also need better communication from the people and business side of things. We do move so quickly, that when there are slowdowns in those areas, it's noticeable and there is a definitely blackout on communication which is a struggle. *Parking - Ok this is a pretty small con, but our next door neighbors tends to get a little grabby with the parking spaces, so showing up to the office earlier than normal... has it's benefits!

Advice to Management

Continue listening to your employees. We will continue to work hard and move faster especially when we know we have a voice in the conversation. Better communication is needed on the people side of things. Which means new programs, or bonuses, vacation, or a change in operation should be communicated better to all. It's difficult wondering when something is going to happen, or if it's going to happen 3 months later...or not at all. Ask questions! There are a lot of issues that could be solved if only there was one or two people asking a question. Sometimes things get muddy because the right people are not included in the initial conversation. Continue investing in your employes. There are a lot of people who feel they are "unknown" but their knowledge, experience and day to day actions are mission critical to the success of SuCo. Listen, learn and continue to kick butt!

What is the salary like at Suited Connector?

Pros

- Near 100% headcount growth in the last 6 months, lots of opportunity. - Consistent, meaningful performance reviews. - Responsibility and position growth is a constant positive theme. - Solid benefits - Great pay - Awesome work-life balance

Cons

- Complex industry, takes a long time to learn but Suited Connector does a great job of providing you the tools to succeed.

Keep up the growth and continue doing it from an employee experience lens.

The quick growth has created some internal silos. Increased communication plan is in progress.

Does Suited Connector offer bonus pay?

Pros

- Very flexible paid time off, super nice if you need a break or head out early from work for a hike or travel - SuCo is filled with some of the smartest people I have ever met. - Fast-paced environment - Okay salary but a HUGE bonus structure

Cons

- Bad communication - whether it's from management or across verticals, pretty consistently there is something that is lost in communication - High turn-over - the company is going through major growing pains and has lost some long-term employees, brought on some new people, and fired many - Short celebrations on wins

Advice to Management

- Think about how messages are spread across the organization. - Look into what gaps current leadership has in their management experience plus how those competencies like communication can be developed further

Okay salary but a HUGE bonus structure
