How is the work/life balance at TMX Finance Family of Companies?

Pros

I truly love this company!!! Titlemax provides great work life balance and a great culture. Pay structure gives you the opportunity to earn a great income. In addition to a solid base pay you have the ability to earn bonuses based on productivity so you share in the success of your branch. TMX also offers a great benefit package including health, dental, vision, life and 401k.

Cons

There are no annual reviews.. but pay structure offsets this.

I truly love this company!!! Titlemax provides great work life balance and a great culture.

What is overtime like at TMX Finance Family of Companies?

Pros

-Growing company -Believes in taking care of customers and employees -Accepting of the feedback from field employees -Opportunities for professional and financial growth

Cons

-Short staffed often -Zero overtime, even when needed for coverage -Insurance is pretty costly for a family

Advice to Management

While I understand that overtime is not acceptable, maybe consider making General Managers salaried employees. Sometimes, to meet our goals as operators, 48 hours a week isn't enough. Also, consider a higher starting salary for Store Manager and General Manager positions. Unemployment is at all time lows, so we have to find ways to attract top talent from other companies.

How flexible is your schedule working at TMX Finance Family of Companies?

Pros

Customer Service is the most important top priority based on this business. TMX is Equal Opportunity with plenty of room for potential success. The company has great benefits. There is so much bonus potential to be made.

Cons

The closing hours are until 7pm, Mon-Fri, which are late hours when you have children waiting for you at home, but the schedule can sometimes be flexible. There are only 2 paid holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas only, unless you use your PTO time.

What do employees say about the location of the TMX Finance Family of Companies office?

Pros

I am really enjoying my career with TMX Finance Family of Companies. The location and hours are great. Guaranteed parking is also a plus in the downtown area. There is potential for growth in your career whether you want to stay in the same department or branch out into something new. My team is very supportive, and everyone wants to see the different teams succeed. We talk about the TMX Family and our culture and it really does feel like a family to me.

Cons

I would like to see better benefits around maternity leave and increased PTO.

Guaranteed parking is also a plus in the downtown area.
