Why do TaskUs employees quit?

Pros

Friendly higher-ups, cheap food (almost free), good amenities

Cons

1) Horrible Training Experience & Management I was assigned to a fairly new campaign and was part of one of the initial waves. The clients were super strict, which they had no right to be as they didn't provide us the resources we needed for our training. Directives were all over the place and the training and production team were not calibrated at all. This resulted in great confusion and stress for trainees. During nesting, the training flow was not followed and apart from not having complete resources, we did not receive any support or coaching sessions AT ALL. But despite this, some nesters were abruptly terminated and weren't given a chance to improve. What's worse is this happened during a pandemic and the management team let the clients decide on the fate of the nesters even though they never had any personal interaction with them. Which part of this experience reflects TaskUs' People-First Policy? 2) Inconsistent OT Compensations During my first few months, we were forced to finish our work even if we go two hours beyond our shift, UNPAID. We would be called out if we don't finish our tickets and end our shift early. Mind you, the lack of resources and support is what caused us to take longer at our work in the first place. Recently though, we were offered OT slots everyday. However, the workforce team does not plot OTs properly. Weeks go by and complaints have been raised but for some reason, they just can't fix the plotted OTs on our schedules. I've disputed more than ten hours of OT as I haven't been paid for them but it looks like it's going nowhere. This is super draining.

Advice to Management

Maybe before establishing gyms, daycare centers, and recreation rooms, you should probably prioritize putting in more funding at the payroll/workforce department and training/management teams. IDK about you, but we're just regular people and losing thousands of well-deserved money in a payout is kind of a big deal to us.

But despite this, some nesters were abruptly terminated and weren't given a chance to improve.

How are promotions handled at TaskUs?

Pros

Tenured agents or even the LXs shares that the promotion is really quick and the culture there is superb.

Cons

I have nothing to say for the cons. I really enjoy working here even if I'm still in the PST.

Advice to Management

When it comes in the dining, it is really time consuming falling in line to get the free meal because of tons of agents wanting to receive the meal, but I can say that all the staffs there are so friendly and very welcoming. I guess it is really a help for everyone working in Taskus if there is another stall for the free meal.

Tenured agents or even the LXs shares that the promotion is really quick and the culture there is superb.
