Does Thales offer family leave?
Pros
Really supported staff in a genuine way during the pandemic, focusing on mental health and work life balance. Great benefits such as sick pay, maternity policy, annual leave.
Cons
Talks the talk about career development but doesn't walk the walk. Exec leadership team don't always do what i would consider to be the morally right thing, sometimes just shift problems about. Very process and policy heavy, without taking into account circumstances.
Advice to Management
HR need to follow it's own advice. We don't always go by the rules that we would set other functions. It can feel really disappointing that we don't live by our words that we insist other areas of the business do. Exec team generally need more gumption, decisions often feel too cautious and risk adverse which can feel very frustrating as an employee. You say you want to be totally honest and transparent but your communications don't read that way.
Great benefits such as sick pay, maternity policy, annual leave.
