Does The Boston Globe offer family leave?
Pros
New office, though terribly designed, a pain to get to. Tuition reimbursement.
Cons
Just about everything. Miserable employees, no sort of office culture, no room for growth, low salaries, I could keep going.... I took the job being told of the various ways I'd be able to grow and move up the ladder. That never happened. Covered manager on maternity leave for 4 months and didn't get a DIME of compensation for the doubled workload that I was faced with. Not only had my own work to do but had to do the work of a much more Senior level role while being a Business Development Associate (6 months out of college) and had little to NO support during those 4 months... Does that sound fair to you? Mind you, this was one of our best months in new revenue that was completed by just me. All I received was a pat on the back. The bonus structure is one of the worst I have ever heard as well. Just horrible. Stay away, honestly.
Advice to Management
Treat your employees better.
