Hanover really cares about their employees. The leadership is very focused and forward-thinking. The people are genuine and care about your development and personal growth. Compensation and benefits are very competitive. The working environment and organization culture are A+.

There are no cons or problems.

-Company gives a clothing allowance twice a year -Weekly recognition for high performers - Traffic is consistent = good commission potential -Companies luxurious reputation is great for future employment

-No pay raises -High turnover -HIGH STRESS - Manager lacks respect for employee -Very toxic work environment -Lack of repercussions for upper management -Fear of retaliation when approaching upper management about toxic work environment - Small company = drama and back stabbing/ favoritism -Lack of communication pertaining to critical business matters between corporate and onsite management -Lack of resources needed to give the property to uphold "luxury standards" -Stingy on commissions -Ran poorly -Lack of consistency with procedures -Poor work/life balance

Treat your employees better, bottom line. I expect a Houston based company to act as so. Houstonians are caring, giving and thoughtful. This company does not embody a true Texan spirit. A quick lunch with the owner and a power point slide show stating how good our medical benefits are doesn't cut it. Not sure how this company is ranked top 6 places to work in Houston.

Great company with great leaders. Great company culture shaped by driven, intelligent, and creative people. Would highly recommend Hanover to others looking.

I do not have any negatives to say about Hanover Company. There is great work life balance and the company takes care of it's employees. Highly recommend.

The Leasing Consultant position is great for those looking to start a career in real estate or sales. Hanover is a family-owned company. Working there really does feel like you are working with family. It is a fun environment and a great place to start a career in real estate. Their pay is competitive.

You will have to work on weekends. At first, it is no big deal, but then it starts to become a pain.

-Free apartment (only in the beginning) and uniforms.

I consider this company as a stepping stone to a better job. Poor management and the lack of communication and professionalism by the Regional Manager was what made me want to achieve something better after one year and a half. Having APMs and agents work all weekends was unnecessary and the working hours are horrible which does not allow you to have a healthy work-life balance.

I suggest the corporate office in Texas to rate the performance of the Regional Managers and Property Managers.....Listen and appreciate your employees.
