What are perks and other benefits like at The Mosaic Company?
Pros
I was always challenged by the intelligent people working for this company. Compensation and benefits are competitive and the management team is by far the best I’ve worked for.
Cons
Travel can be a burden but they do their best to minimize it based on geographical needs. I feel they took my family situation into consideration when determining which project I would be assigned.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you’re doing. Your focus on work/life balance and the delivered product to the client made this one of the best working experiences I’ve ever had.

What is health insurance like at The Mosaic Company?
Pros
Great experience to add to your resume, you learn a LOT very quickly, most of the people you work with are great, and starting pay and PTO are pretty decent.
Cons
Not devoted to training or providing resources to their own employees, or investing time/money to ensure that changes. Senior leadership feels very reactive, and doesn’t seem to think past the next couple of client contracts. You WILL work with some rotten apples, and left to clean up the mess. There isn’t any devotion to helping you develop your career, you are an expendable and expensable resource. The recognition and resources you receive really depend on your PM or project. CEO does not seem invested or to care about the lower folks. Health insurance (Cigna) is TERRIBLE. And it’s the only option. 401k match is well below industry standards.
Advice to Management
There has been a lot of turnover lately, start looking at how to develop and support from within instead of being reactive to client demands and billable time. People want to feel invested in, and that you’re looking at how to support longevity and succession, not just how much you can get out of their billable rate.
Health insurance (Cigna) is TERRIBLE.

Does The Mosaic Company offer unlimited time off?
Pros
Wonderful and talented colleagues Work life balance Gain valuable experience that applies to a variety of industries They do listen to and consider strengths when placing with clients.
Cons
Job security - they hire full time but cannot guarantee full time work which felt misleading. They should consider hiring contract roles so that employees can plan ahead instead of having massive lay offs when the company struggles, which happened this year. The severance was very low and left a lot of employees in a major bind.
Advice to Management
Be more strategic in long term planning and transparent with staff about the future of the company.
