What are perks and other benefits like at TotalMed Staffing?

Pros

Great pay The people in the office are wonderful With the right person mentoring you, you can become very successful and learn so much Willingness to be flexible

Cons

Internally the company is kind of a mess, being successful as a recruiter you have to be willing to pick up any & all slack from other departments that have no idea what their doing because the training is sub par at best. HR is stretched way too thin. There’s also a lot of favoritism from management & benefits are expensive.

Does TotalMed Staffing offer unlimited time off?

Pros

Great staff, amazing work life balance and unlimited possibilities to move up in the company!

Cons

The only con I could see is that for this job you need to put all your effort into it to see results. If that is not something you are capable of then it may not be the job for you.

Does TotalMed Staffing offer health savings accounts?

Pros

Open conversation with management, teamwork, and committed co workers

Cons

No growth. Pay is terrible for work.output required. Pto plan bare minimum Medical plan is either super expensive or hsa with massive deductible

Advice to Management

Stop talking about wanting to make changes and do something about it. Also adequate pay. Pay for your direct competition is 25% more locally.

What is the retirement plan like at TotalMed Staffing?

Pros

My recruiter is wonderful. He cares about my happiness and satisfaction, and is always willing to help and support me when I have issues with my contract.

Cons

The hiring process was an absolute mess. I was told a start day, and then due to a clerical error my start was pushed back another week. This was a week of missed pay I was not expecting. The on boarding was chaos, and I never knew who I should be contacting. They promise benefits, but make signing up for them difficult, and the promised 401k does not start until 6 months in. My contract was only for five months originally, so I would not have gotten it.

Advice to Management

Get your on boarding system figured out. I almost quit multiple times in those first two weeks because I could not get any help or answers from your team.
