What kind of career opportunities exist at TransAm Trucking?
Pros
They get you on the road quickly, maintenance was easy to deal with
Cons
The pay was too low to operate successfully as a lease operator, barely enough to cover truck and insurance payments. Communication is terrible. Home time will kill your paycheck. No opportunity for advancement. They will do everything they can to keep you running 24/7, even if you need a break. Couldn't get any sleep on my 10 hour breaks with phone calls literally every 30 minutes. Some weeks were great, some were awful. 3,000 miles one week, 1,200 the next.
Advice to Management
Improve communication between night and day dispatch. Try to act like you care about the drivers.
No opportunity for advancement.
