Does USANA Health Sciences offer an employee assistance or workplace counselling program?

Pros

Employee culture and benefits are very good. The company is supportive of employee growth (both personal and professional). The company values diversity and equity as well.

Cons

Decision-making is very distributed. As a result, decisions usually come slowly, with executive consensus. More minor decisions are often left unmade. Some initiatives have trouble getting off the ground.

Advice to Management

Plan for the future. The business model AND the culture will need to shift over time, and it would be better to start those changes now. Create a tiered IT development system, with the big and significant development projects being handled by one team, and the smaller projects that impact only one department being handled by a second team. This will help the smaller projects not get stuck behind the large development initiatives.

Employee culture and benefits are very good.

Does USANA Health Sciences offer health savings accounts?

Pros

Culture is important at USANA and I really enjoy working with my coworkers. They are kind, respectful, work hard and care about what they are doing. There is a lot to do here, but still a good work life balance. Benefits are good, love the Marathon Health Clinic that is on site, it saves a lot of money on standard checkups and minor illnesses. When issues come up, there are leaders who will listen and help find a way to make things better.

Cons

We're a growing company and there are lots of opportunities for even more growth; however, there are so many projects going on at the same time that it slows things down and makes it more complex than it needs to be.

Advice to Management

Focus on fewer projects in order to move more projects to completion quicker. Make sure to keep a safe atmosphere so employees feel like they can be honest with you in what is really happening. This happens most of the time but there is always room for improvement.

Does USANA Health Sciences offer unlimited time off?

Pros

Excellent benefits (aside from PTO, which is pretty poor), good culture, meaningful work

Cons

The PTO and paid holidays aren't what I'd call the best... PTO is typical (two weeks, plus 1 week of sick time), and you don't get more until you've been there three years. 6 Paid holidays. The lowest I've ever had.

Advice to Management

You guys could use more PTO. Otherwise, you're doing pretty well. Haha

Fore! It was a great day on the course as 200 employees and vendors participated in USANA’s annual golf tournament. More than $17,000 in donations was raised for USANA Kid’s Eat and our local school partnerships. Thanks to all those who participated!
