What is health insurance like at University of North Texas Health Science Center?
Pros
-Great entry level experience -Looks great on the resume -Great healthcare benefits -The people you work directly with are kind (feels like a family)
Cons
-Very low salaries -Rarely any raises (if even any) & no bonuses -Many unnecessary meetings (waste of time since nothing ever changes) -Employers do not listen to the employees’ needs - Very short staffed; you do the work of 2-3 people since they are too cheap to hire other employees - Things of low importance becomes a priority (ex: spending money on a new building or re-doing their logo instead of giving employees a raise) -Employees are overall unhappy and want to find something better (this seems to serve more as a temporary job for most)
Advice to Management
Hire real leaders, as in those who will put their employees needs first and can empathize. No more of that fake nice and fake promises coming from the higher ups. Also, make some changes or don’t have any meetings if the changes will not be possible. Time is money.
-Great healthcare benefits
