Does Walmart offer health savings accounts?

Pros

The customers can be great. Being able to help them find what they need or design a cake to their specifications and seeing the smile on their faces is very rewarding.

Cons

Management is erratic and irrational. The expectations for hard working associates is unreasonable while the sycophants whisper in their ears with lies and nonsense and don't have to work; just as long as they fill management's ears with garbage about other employees. Talent and hard work is never recognized. You do something you were instructed to do by a supervisor and management doesn't like it, you get written up. You have no defense, they don't even listen to your side. No verbal redirections just straight up written disciplinary actions. You get blindsided by these. Hours are cut as retaliation. Other associates are fired or forced to transfer and you have to pick up the slack and run yourself ragged trying to keep up but it still not good enough for management. Your "productivity" level is measured at unattainable levels and there is no basis for the numbers; meaning it's not in One Best Way. You get conflicting work assignments which you try to follow and complete but still get in trouble for all while barely making enough to fill your gas tank just to get to work. Its NOT WORTH IT! Benefits are terrible. The only insurance is a high deductible health plan and you never meet your deductible because its so high and you are loath to go to the doctor due to having to pay almost a third of your salary just to hit the deductible. Corporate employees have it better.

Advice to Management

The overall culture at Walmart is bad. I think managers are taught these tactics to wear down employees to make them submissive and not productive. Walmart won't improve until its management from the top down is culled and new blood takes over and goes in a completely different direction. That is my advice.
