What is overtime like at Walmart?

Pros

If you're desperate, it's easy to get hired. Easy to get promoted if you're one of the 5 people on your shift actually putting in bare minimum effort.

Does Walmart reimburse for mileage?

Pros

You get to travel corporate credit card = all meals and transportation costs paid. Mileage redemption paid out for using your own car to drive.

Cons

Cut throat team style management. Almost everyone is not holding each other accountable and when incidents happen they're quick to point fingers at each other than working together to solve the issue. Majority of the projects happen overnight so get used to working 16 hour shifts with a 1 hour lunch break.

Advice to Management

Listen to your staff when they are putting their lives on the line for the company
