Does Warner Music Group offer a wellness program?

Pros

- Vibrant and incredibly diverse workforce. - Relaxed office atmosphere - Complimentary breakfast on a Friday - Wellness week in January which shows HR are in-touch with mental and physical health needs. - Positive involvement with diversity initiatives

Cons

- If you work in HSK you will be left out of most events. Significant division between HSK and Wrights Lane with the latter being favoured for almost all events. If you work in HSK you will almost never be offered tickets or invites to events, whereas you later find out these are offered freely to all staff in the main building. Company slogan "makes you feel" is the most ironic joke of them all, management does not practice what they preach and this elitist practice "makes you feel" very undervalued. Also applies to away days. - Inflexible about working arrangements. - Bullying accepted even when reported. - Staff from the US offices very rude in attitude and elitism comes directly from there. - Management are obnoxious and egotistical. Expect a VIP-only area designated for Christmas parties so upper management can be separated (physically!) from the rest of the staff, and can receive premium drinks whilst other staff are confined to "wine and beer only". Again, "makes you feel" pretty awful, but nothing will change. We raise it every year at the yearly company-wide meeting and it goes unanswered. - Attitude with some where "hard work" is just being seen to stay late and send emails at antisocial hours, rather than actually outputting decent quality work. Rather, this shows inefficiency and is an old-fashioned business practice that would be assumed to have died out. - Low uncompetitive pay resulting in staff leaving for competitors.

Advice to Management

You will continue to lose good staff to Sony and Universal if you keep treating staff like workhorses. Start giving them the appreciation they deserve and they will stop leaving en-masse. It costs less to retain and nurture existing staff than hiring and training new ones. A simple "thank you" costs nothing.
