What is the salary like at Wineshipping?

Pros

Challenging Work Great Mentorship Competitive pay and compensations

Cons

Decent Work-life Balance (Ecomm Life) The support staff is growing but not 100% Decent WMS (you have to learn it and be nice to it-lol)

Advice to Management

Well, I have heard people use the term it's like drinking from a firehose. I usually ask them if that's good or bad, and they almost 100% of the time say. "It's fantastic and that they are growing personally and professionally." With that, I'm drinking from a firehose. I am a people process leader who was lucky to inherit a fantastic team at the precipice of transformation into a learning organization. I am only 45 days in but love the challenge of contributing to driving the business forward. Professionally, I love to be a part of a culture that recognizes diversity in the traditional sense of the word and thought. Found one here at Wineshipping.

Does Wineshipping offer a weekly bonus?

Pros

Good benefits and bonuses, great people, many free appreciation lunches and parties.

Cons

Required overtime has changed from just once a year during busy season to pretty much year round. Good if you want overtime, bad if you want a life outside of your job. Too many outside managers brought in from outside the company, rather than promoting from within. Managers do not talk to employees actually doing the day to day work enough.

Does Wineshipping offer bonus pay?

Pros

Wineshipping is growing really quickly, so there is a lot of opportunity. They have accessible leadership teams, involved (on the floor) managers. The company just merged with another company, that's why they are growing so fast. They paid a Holiday bonus all the hourly employees. The people are smart, helpful and it feels like a family.

Cons

You have to be flexible, because it is growing so quickly. Sometimes there are long hours, and obviously weekends. Since it was two different companies, the processes are not always the same, so there is a need to improve that. Better training is needed.

Advice to Management

Begin to build out processes and communicate them across the one new company.
