What are perks and other benefits like at Zeal IT Consultants?

Pros

The best part about working at Zeal is the people. The employees at Zeal are knowledgable, skilled, friendly, hard working, and very enjoyable to be around. The company fosters a culture of lifting each other up, and everyone is always eager to help each other. Senior employees value and listen to the input of more junior employees, which promotes a culture of growth, respect, and inclusiveness. Zeal has regular social events for employees, and I always look forward to them. Management is also fantastic, and is very invested in the success and wellbeing of employees. Zeal leadership goes above and beyond to make sure that employees have the tools they need to succeed, and take a personal interest in cultivating and recognizing success. Employees at Zeal do not have to wonder if they are doing a good job. They will be told they are doing a good job. Furthermore, Management also trusts employees to excel at their jobs, and provides helpful guidance and direction while still encouraging employee autonomy. Engineers are trusted to know how to do their jobs effectively. The work is also very enjoyable. Consulting creates a fast paced environment where people typically don't work on the same project for too long. This means that there is a constant stream of new assignments and technologies, which keeps work fresh and exciting. The work/life balance is great too. I seldom work more than 40 hours per week, and when I do work more, it is by personal choice. Compensation and benefits for full time employees are also excellent.

Cons

There are no downsides to working at Zeal.

Keep doing exactly what you are currently doing. It is appreciated!

What is health insurance like at Zeal IT Consultants?

Pros

I have been to quite a few companies in my long career, and this company has the best culture I have seen. Zeal is very supportive and invest in their employees, management is friendly and approachable. Founder/CEO David Thach has open-door policy and encouraging everyone to be their best, which promotes a culture of growth, respect, inclusiveness, offers professional development. Everyone whom I have the pleasure of knowing at this company has been very friendly and fun to be around. Flexible working environment, remote, great compensation, health insurance, 401K matching, unlimited PTO.

Does Zeal IT Consultants offer tuition reimbursement?

Pros

Zeal puts an emphasis on loving your future. I have seen and experienced Zeal's kindness first hand with generous benefits, pay, unlimited PTO, and yearly education budget. As I grow more with the company, I am appreciating the culture that is being built here. If you are a hard worker and looking to surround yourself with people smarter than you, this is the place to be. I have been in competitive, toxic work environments and I can say that it's different here.

Cons

There are deadlines and expectations at Zeal, and you will be expected to accomplish them. At Zeal, you should be solution-oriented and have the main goal of delighting our clients. If that's not your priority, you may not enjoy this environment.

Advice to Management

Be advocates for your employees so they can continue to love their future.

What is the retirement plan like at Zeal IT Consultants?

Surrounded by caring & smart people, competitive pay, great work-life balance

Cons

- Consulting may not be your thing; it has its own challenges and perks - Since we're young & growing, some benefits are not fully fleshed out yet (e.g. no 401k match)
